Chris has over 15 years of global experience as a project and process manager. He has a proven track record of effectively partnering with customers in business intelligence, cost reduction, process improvement, risk management, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Chris is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt project lead and is fluent in Spanish.
Prior to AArete, Chris was a Director of Risk and Process Management at The McGraw-Hill Companies. In this role, Chris advised and led all aspects of HR risk management including compliance, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
Chris holds a Master en Dirección y Administración de Empresas from Escuela Superior de Administración y Dirección de Empresas (ESADE) in Barcelona, Spain, as well as a MBA in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, AZ. Chris received two undergraduate degrees in Spanish and Business Administration from the University of Arizona in Tucson.
Chris is a founding member, trustee and officer of a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation with 400+ members committed to building bicycle and pedestrian friendly communities. Chris is a passionate cyclist; he has completed the 1200 km Boston-Montreal-Boston brevet, has commuted to work for nearly 20 years, and is a League Cycling Instructor (LCI) with the League of American Bicyclists.
