Katie is a Managing Director at AArete with over 8 years of experience providing operational consulting services to clients across multiple industries. She has experience leading project teams in identifying and implementing strategies to optimize business processes and reduce indirect costs. She is skilled at developing complex financial models and forecasts, as well as analyzing business issues. Katie also directs analysts in the creation of complex financial evaluation models related to analysis and strategy formulation for cost reduction in significant expense categories. Throughout her career, Katie’s focus has been on delivering measurable savings with bottom-line impact to numerous clients through strategic sourcing, supply chain improvement and process redesign.
Prior to AArete, Katie was a manager in Huron Consulting Group’s Strategic and Operational consulting practice and was also a member of Deloitte’s Corporate Tax practice. Katie is a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business where she graduated Cum Laude. Katie received her undergraduate degree in Accounting and International Business from St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana.
Katie has represented AArete at the Sourcing Interests Group Global Summit in both 2009 and 2010, and has presented on the topics of “Cost Reduction in Uncertain Economic Times”, and “Advanced Strategic Sourcing”.
