Tim is a Managing Director at AArete and heads the company’s western region.  Tim is responsible for building strategic partnerships with client networks and service providers, and for directing client engagement delivery across multiple industries.
 Prior to joining AArete, Tim was President of Collective Intellect, a real-time data analytics and market research firm.  Other previous roles held by Tim include: Managing Director at Huron Consulting Group, Vice President of Business Development at Whole Foods Market, Principal at PricewaterhouseCoopers Management Consulting, and Program Manager for the Mexican and European Operations for Augat Inc. (now Tyco).

Tim is a Supply Market Economic expert in Temporary Labor, Office Products & Services, IT Hardware and Software, HR Systems, Marketing & Advertising, Real Estate, and Telecommunications.  Tim is the developer of the Procurement Assessor CUBE tm, a 120-inquiry tool that produces a thorough analysis of an organization's Source-to-Settle functions. The tool evaluates an organization's strategic, process, technology, and organizational fundamentals to determines its competitive position relative to one or many industries across six core client benefit areas.

Tim is a frequent guest speaker on strategic and operational issues.  Tim was interviewed on Fox Business News and National Public Radio on the topic of insight discovery through the use of advanced data analytics.  Tim has also spoken on strategic sourcing and GPO topics at the Sourcing Interests Group and SciQuest national conferences.  Tim is the author of the leading industry white paper "Making the Case for Procurement Transformation" and the “Social Media Enterprise Value Map”.

Tim received a Master of Business Administration degree in Strategy & Operations from the Anderson School at UCLA.  Tim holds an undergraduate degree in Government & Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.

In his free time Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, traveling, playing tennis, and volunteering.
