AArete announced today that Katie O'Connell has been promoted to Managing Director as of January 1, 2012.

Katie, 31, joined AArete in 2008 as one of the company's founding members. O'Connell has nearly 10 years of experience consulting on cost reduction efforts and other procurement and operational improvement services across a variety of industries. Additionally, she has deep experience in non-salary cost reduction across numerous commodity areas.  Prior to joining AArete, Katie was a manager in Huron Consulting Group's Strategic and Operational consulting practice.
