Gina Hedstrom is a seasoned healthcare consultant, entrepreneur, and visionary leader with over two decades of experience transforming payer and provider operations across the U.S. As Managing Director of Payment Intelligence at AArete, she leads strategic initiatives in payment accuracy, automation, operational strategy, and healthcare data innovation.

A registered nurse with deep clinical insight, Gina founded a consulting firm and launched a healthcare AI company focused on empowering providers through smarter technology. She has served as a trusted advisor to every major health payer in the country, driving improvements in policy optimization, claims adjudication, utilization management, credentialing, and medical record audits.

Holding both an MBA and a doctoral degree in healthcare administration, Gina brings a rare blend of clinical, technical, and executive expertise to every engagement.

During her free time, she enjoys diving, boating, and water sports—activities that reflect her adventurous spirit and love of the ocean.
