Sam Mahdavian is a Director in AArete’s Data Science & AI practice, recognized for developing innovative, AI-driven solutions that enhance efficiency and performance across healthcare, financial, educational, and transportation industries. His expertise spans building complex machine learning models, designing scalable AI architectures, and creating advanced AI applications that deliver actionable insights and measurable results.

At AArete, Sam leads a talented team of data scientists and engineers focused on developing transformative technologies. He spearheaded the creation of Doczy.ai, an AI-driven solution designed to empower health insurance companies by digitizing and analyzing complex provider contracts. Doczy.ai ensures accurate payment configuration, optimizes provider networks, and streamlines system migrations, demonstrating Sam’s commitment to solving real-world challenges through innovative solutions. Additionally, he developed an AI Accelerator Web Application Product, further showcasing his ability to drive impactful, data-driven innovation.

Sam holds a PhD in Engineering with a focus on Machine Learning and maintains certifications in PMP and PBA, with deep expertise in mathematics, algorithms, and advanced AI technologies. His approach blends technical excellence with practical, client-focused solutions.

Beyond his professional work, Sam enjoys exploring emerging AI technologies, mentoring upcoming data scientists, and contributing to industry discussions on the future of AI. Outside of work, he is an avid sports enthusiast who loves playing and watching soccer, basketball, and tennis. When not immersed in technology or sports, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and outdoor activities with his Labrador Retriever.
