Pam Shipley – Chief Executive Officer

Pam Shipley is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AArete. She leads the firm’s strategy, growth, and operations, building on AArete’s strong culture, client-first approach, and reputation for delivering transformative results. As a former client and longtime collaborator of the firm, Pam brings a unique perspective to leading AArete’s next chapter of growth.

Pam is a Fortune 25 healthcare executive with more than 30 years of experience spanning payer operations, enterprise strategy, digital transformation, and organizational performance. Known for aligning strategy, operations, and innovation to drive growth, she has helped leading healthcare organizations navigate complex challenges and deliver lasting results.

Prior to joining AArete, Pam served as Chief Strategy Officer at Centene Corporation. Across nearly 14 years with the organization, she held multiple executive leadership roles, including Market CEO positions, while helping lead digital transformation, provider strategy, and market expansion initiatives. She also served in leadership roles at Kaiser Permanente, Sharecare and UnitedHealthcare. Pam has been recognized as one of Atlanta’s 500 Most Powerful Leaders and an Atlanta Business Chronicle Most Admired CEO. 

Pam holds a Bachelor of Science from Chestnut Hill College and completed the Leadership Program at Washington University in St. Louis.
