AI Notice
AArete, LLC (“AArete”) and its affiliates, subsidiaries and assigns may utilize Artificial Intelligence/Automated Decision-Making Technology/Automated Employment Decision Technology tools and resources (“AI” or “tools” or “resources”) to assist humans in the recruitment, employment, and performance management of employment candidates, job applicants, employees and contractors.
1. What Systems May be Used?:
AArete may use Microsoft Co-Pilot, OpenAI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, LinkedIn Recruiter AI and Hiring Assistant, Jobvite Talent Fit and AArete HireSense. AArete uses these tools to generate content, to summarize content, emails and other information, to assist humans in the posting of information, generating job descriptions and postings, recruitment, analyzation of information, screening candidates, evaluation of candidate information, staffing employees, assisting in the evaluation of employees and candidates, and assisting humans in the selection of potential candidates. AArete reserves the right to update this notice in its sole discretion without further notice.
2. How is AI Used?:
Employment Candidates:
AArete may use AI in relation to employment candidates to create, improve or modify job postings, screenings resumes or applications, screening candidates, posting positions, analyzing candidate backgrounds, comparing candidates, drafting communications and analyzing information provided by candidates. AArete may use AI to review, sort, rank, or prioritizing applications, resumes, cover letters, and related materials and identify qualifications, skills, experience, credentials, or competencies that may align with job requirements. AArete may use AI to administer or support job-related assessments, skills tests, simulations, or interview processes and utilize AI to detect fraud, misconduct, irregularities or inconsistencies. All of these actions are taken to assist humans.
Employees:
AArete may use AI in relation to drafting and proofing communications, in staffing, trainings, discipline, drafting and screening for performance and promotion and HR functions, Training functions, Legal Functions, IT functions and Recruiting functions. All employees of AArete may utilize AI and all employment positions with AArete are subject to AI use in relation to their candidacy or employment.
3. What Data may be Processed by AI?:
AArete may use any and all information provided by employment candidates, employees or applicants in connection with AI. Employment candidates, employees, or job applicants may opt out of such use or seek other rights afforded to them by applicable law by contacting the following department(s):

4. Non-Discrimination:
AArete complies with all applicable state and federal law and does not use AI to discriminate against potential candidates, candidates, applicants or employees based on any protected characteristic or class, including, but not limited to race, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, pregnancy, or such other protected classes. AArete does not use location or geographic data like zip codes to act in a discriminatory or illegal manner.
5. Accommodations:
If you are an applicant or employee with needs a reasonable accommodation in regards to an AI Tool, online application, assessment, interview technology, scheduling tool, or other automated process you may request a reasonable accommodation or, where appropriate, an alternative process by contacting the Departments identified in section 3 of this notice.
